I've seen lots of "I survived the rapture" stamps, but none pointing out the obvious.

The meaning and events behind "rapture" as desribed by the book of revelations, will always be shrouded in an enternal fog since it is written in such a cryptic language that only the one who wrote it (John) and God (The Father, Son, and Holy spirit) can understand it a 100%!

Those who say they do know what exactly rapture is all about, well.....how to say this!...They either don't know what they're talking about or have deluded themselves with their interperatation!

Or many many other reasons why, but one thing that is certain to me! We who do not know it, can never get the full story out of it and I or you or anyone else, can only understand (only) slight (fractions) of truth and certainty from it!

So to put my point in a nut shell! We can only theorize of what's the most probable situation and event surrounding the texts and with what they have to do with the nature of mankind and the world at any given time! Just like in Quantom physics! Nothings certain in it.....(Although, that is a gross understatement! I have no other way or words of describing it!)

It's that difficult to understand and interperate! As if it it was not meant to be understood in first place, otherwise too much information and many secrets may be leaked or be made known to those who want to contradict it and bring it all down with all the power they have! (Although it is {him}, who is behind all the deaths and dominoe effects that curse this world and creation wth it!)

Yes, it really sucks for us people but it is all we have to go on! Though I am grateful we have been shown a small glimpse of the future of mankind! Although it is not pretty but then when has life ever been truely pretty except for those few small moments in the present!.....

Don't forget that it's not at all obvious that the book of Revelation even deals specifically with the end of the world. It's obvious enough that many of the events it describes, considered merely as isolated historical events, have already happened. And it's likely enough (judging by God's previous shaping of history, the parallels between Christ's life and the history of Israel, etc.) that the end of the world will recapitulate and expand upon themes that have marked the fall of previous human civilizations. But as reasonable as all of this is, we're no more capable of discovering the exact form the endtimes will take than Isaiah was capable of knowing that the true "Emmanuel" would be God's true and only son born in the flesh.

Well isn't that the crux of the issue!.....

The only way we will ever know what truely happens, in my opinion and interperatation, 1, is when we experience what has yet to come to pass! Or 2, when we die and see the great day of judgement on all creation, including me unfold before me! (May I prepare very well when that day comes!..... :iconscaredplz:

We can never be sure, but what's more important than the book of Revelations and being just plain vigilant of the world, is remembering and to learn to the core, of what Christ taught us that flipped the world on its head! (Although pretty much over half of what he taught and preached goes completely against Human nature and what it has become!)

You can thank for original sin and many other grave insults to the great Father for parasitically twisting and killing any decency, life, goodness/divintity of the human being, and any truth in everything imaginable in this reality we live in!

And there's much more things out there than even that I can ever cover in a thousand life times!

Death as much as it is a part of this world and a reality I will face one day is personally the greatest insult and slap on the face of our creator that I have ever come to know! And all other maladies only worsen the situation ten fold!

I just hope, all of this truth's and realities are not able to suck up and kill what's left of me and the joy of being privelidged to walk on this most mysterious and blessed universe and the Earth that shelters us!

P.S: I hope I am not annoying you too much with my religeous interperatations and personal philosophies here! Especially if your not religeous at all...

If I am then I apologize for the inconviences I may or may have not caused. I just wanted to shead some clarity on the subject in question! And voice my opinion on it!

He also didn't read the part on what happens to those who make "False Prophecies". Bet he's glad he's living in America now!

By this point, it MUST be all about the money. I've heard a few additional statements and there's no way this guy can be dumb enough to believe %1 of the things that come out of his own mouth.

Anthrax sang it best on "Make Me Laugh"

Man, I can't stand the people who get all worked up when someone says that the world's going to end...unless that person is God, it's not gonna happen

and when it turns out that who ever 'prophesied' is wrong it gives (true) Christians a bad name *sigh*

Obvious stamp is not so obvious to people that haven't read the Bible.
Like most people in the world. Including, apparently, the guy making all the predictions.
And the people listening to him.
Wah. :P

Oh jeez don't even get me started. Some guy on the local CHRISTIAN station just said something about how lots of other cultures are predicting the end of the world in 2012 and somehow this is supposed to bolster his similar claims. The bible does say no one will know the day or hour but it has even MORE to say about turning away from God to other faiths :P
